Almost everybody understands and has told himself dozens of times that there is no reason to rush, that "La2 is not a sprint, but a marathon", that everyone will hit the same gap in the first week. But still, obeying either the instinct of the crowd or the invisible wave of energy of the new server, I wanted to try hard and sweat. I particularly wait for late night to solo farm good spots freely.
While my whole party was enjoying mages, I was overcoming the Swamp of Sorrow as the rogue with the dagger. I chose SH as my first sub. And I rushed to choose an authentic embodiment, to present the dark mage in all his glory
I finished the stage in a rare Zubei, with a rare magic blunt and boosted my m.attack to a very high value. Unfortunately, at the cost of casting speed, that is very essential in pvp. But the gap is balanced by the hourly debuff "Malaria 4", the mage should take every time he wants to leave the town.
The most engaging moments in Lineage 2 are not in the game mechanics but in its social aspects. The game is just a stage where personalities meet behind the masks of avatars and unfold human emotions.
That is the concept of MW - fun without the exhausting grind, without being late for the server race if you suddenly skipped the start (as it was on the official, or any server without stages).
I am glad that MW developers, step by step, make little improvements to update classes. For example, they slightly strengthened the unpopular SH by changing the enchanting of the main self-buff to m. attack.
The level design that the MW team is capable of is reasonable. The locations get a natural and logical addition. But for me, it lacks spice outside of logistical expediency.
For example, it would be nice to place a camp set up by monsters or a lonely, hungry traveller who has climbed a cliff and a simple quest, where you will treat him with a sausage. Some signs of post-apocalyptic life, tied to the Mad Max or Fallout franchises, adapted to the world of La2, as done with Star Wars troopers.
Playing in midwar or bigwar on MW is great. It's a different level - a team play. La2 in La2. To comprehend the game, as the Koreans intended, it is important to reach this level. Especially if you don't give up and are interested in the game and the people playing it. Only together can you evolve more effectively, play longer and understand it deeper.
There are enemies, there are friends and a path that you go along with them not everyone will go through. That is a personal adventure. That is a marathon where thousands of participants go with numberplates. THAT IS A MOVEMENT. It carries you along every year. And the path is important, not the place behind the finish line! And even more important, who you will go through it with. Because without support, it is extremely hard to do.
